Source Control (SC) 'Integrid'

Sub-base reinforcement

The SC Intergrid acts as a reinforcing layer to improve the strength of the ground otherwise referred to as the Californian Bearing Ratio (CBR.) SC Intergrid integrates with the aggregate and provides mechanical interlock to provide sub base reinforcement.

SC Integrid is an extruded, bi-axial, polypropylene geogrid having high tensile strength in both directions and a uniform distribution of rectangular apertures. SC Integrid has rigid ribs and junctions which provide considerable confining action and increases the efficiency of the interlocking mechanism between the geogrid and the cohesive granular fill.
